"The Scattered Cargo" is a quest in NieR and NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139.... An old lady hires Nier to retrieve vast amounts of contraband in crates that washed ashore in three different places. He has the option to either deliver the cargo or report it to the authorities once all three have been found.
This quest is only available during the second half of the game.

- Speak to the old Resident near the fountain in Seafront any time after receiving Emil's letter from Popola.

- An old lady standing under a tree in Seafront needs you to recover cargo from a ship that was lost at sea. Search the shorelines and find her three pieces of cargo.
- You retrieved the cargo from Nier's village.
- You retrieved the cargo from the Seafront shoreline.
- You retrieved the cargo from the shoreline in the northern plains.
- You retrieved all the cargo. Now, what to do with it...
- (if the cargo is delivered) You gave the cargo to the client.
- (if the cargo is reported) You gave the cargo to the authorities.
